1. Preamble
These general terms of sale (the “general conditions”) are concluded between Honoré and any non-commercial natural person (“you”) wishing to make a purchase on the Website.
Honoré reserves the right to modify its general terms at any time. They will be applicable as soon as they are published.
2 products
The products governed by these general conditions are those which appear on the Website and which are indicated as sold and shipped by Honoré (“the products”). They are offered within the limits of available stocks.
The essential characteristics of the Products are described with the greatest possible accuracy.
Handcrafted: each Honoré item is entirely handmade by our talented craftsmen. You may notice slight imperfections from one item to another. These natural variations are evidence of our craftsmanship and symbolise the quintessence of Honoré objects
3 Prices
The prices of the Products are indicated in Euros, all taxes included. They take into account the VAT and any reductions applicable on the day of the order.
Product prices are exclusive of delivery costs (postage, packaging and preparation of the package according to the amounts in force). The amount of delivery costs will be specified before validation of the order. If one or more taxes or contributions, in particular environmental, were to be created or modified, up or down, this change may be reflected in the selling price of the Products on the Website and on the various sales media.
However, a price cannot be modified once your order has been modified.
4 The Order
4.1 Registration and validation of the order
Once your cart has been validated, you will have to choose the address and delivery method, and validate your payment method, this last step formalizing the sales contract with Honoré.
Any order implies acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the Products available for sale.
Honoré will acknowledge receipt of your order upon validation by sending you an email in which you will find a link to these General Terms of Sale.
In certain cases, in particular for non-payment, incorrect address or any other problem related to your account, Honoré reserves the right to block your order until the problem is resolved.
If the ordered product is unavailable, you have the option of canceling the order or pre-ordering the product. The cancellation of the order for this Product and its possible refund will then be made, the rest of the order remaining firm and final.
4.2 Pre-order
If the ordered product is unavailable, you can pre-order it on the site. Once the basket has been validated, you will be asked to validate the method of payment and the address and method of delivery. This last step formalizes the sales contract with Honoré. The Pre-Order Button indicates the availability of your product and an estimated shipping date.
5 Payment terms
You can pay for your order:
- By credit card: Carte Bleue, Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, Apple Pay and American Express.
6 Delivery
6.1 Delivery in Metropolitan France
Based on the size and weight of your order, the site automatically calculates the most economical and viable delivery method for your order. For small packages we use DPD Predict, for larger shipments we use Kuehne+Nagel.
6.1.1 Delivery by courier (parcel weighing less than 30kg):
Packages are shipped by DPD PREDICT, delivery is made 2 to 4 days from the delivery of your package to the carrier. Delivery is made by DPD PREDICT. As such, you choose the date and time of delivery. The deadlines indicated by DPD PREDICT are not guaranteed by Honoré during certain periods of high activity and in the event of a strike, or slowdowns due to lack of staff or a pandemic (COVID-19 for example).
6.1.2 Delivery by carrier (package weighing over 30kg and certain volumetric weights) Packages are shipped by our carrier Khuene + Nagel. Delivery is made within 5 days from the day your package is picked up by the carrier. The times indicated by Kuehne + Nagel are not guaranteed by Honoré and depend on your delivery address in France.
6.2 Delivery of products in Europe
For the countries mentioned in the delivery policy, we apply the same transport methods as for mainland France.
Based on the size and weight of your order, the site automatically calculates the most economical and viable delivery method for your order. Depending on the volumetric weight of your order, the site opts for the most economical formula for you.
6.2.1 Delivery by courier service (parcel weighing less than 30kg):
The packages are shipped by DPD PREDICT, delivery is made 4 to 6 days from the pickup of your package by the carrier. Delivery is made by DPD. The deadlines indicated by DPD are not guaranteed by Honoré during certain periods of high activity and in the event of a strike, or slowdowns due to lack of staff or a pandemic (COVID-19 for example).
6.1.2 Delivery by carrier (package weighing more than 30kg or )
Packages are shipped by our carrier Khuene + Nagel. Delivery is made within 10 days from the pickup date of your package by the carrier. The shipping times indicated by Kuehne + Nagel are not guaranteed by Honoré and depend on your delivery address in Europe.
7 Right of withdrawal and exchange
7.1 Right of withdrawal and terms of return
You have a right of withdrawal of fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of your order. During this period, you can return the Products without having to justify reasons, nor to pay a penalty.
All products may be subject to withdrawal, except those excluded by law in article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, for example, products that have been unsealed and which cannot be returned for hygienic reasons (eg towels, soaps or perfumes).
Products must be returned intact, complete and in their original packaging.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact Honoré at eshop@honoredeco.com you can use the withdrawal form to be completed here. Honoré will acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal by email.
You must then return the Products to Honoré no later than 14 (fourteen) days following receipt of your order by carrier to the following address: 121 Rue Sainte, 13007 Marseille, France. You are responsible for the return shipping costs (with the exception of an error in processing your order by Honoré, for example sending a wrong product).

7.2 Refund
Honoré undertakes to reimburse you for the full amount paid upon receipt of your package in its warehouses. Honoré will reimburse you for the returned Products, subject to compliance with the above-mentioned conditions, as well as the standard "outbound" delivery costs of the latter if you return your entire order because of an error on Honoré’s behalf.
If you do not return your entire order and keep one or more Products ordered, the amount of the "outbound" delivery costs will not be refunded by Honoré.
The refund will be made via the payment method used for the returned order (CB, Visa, MasterCard), for a PayPal refund, if the PayPal account is still active, the refund will be made to this account. In the event of failure or inability to refund, Honoré will make a refund by check sent to the billing address.
8 guarantees
All Products for sale on the Website benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (L211-1 and following of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code), allowing you to return Products delivered defective or non-compliant. We draw your attention that the products made by Honoré are handcrafted, and as such, slight variations from one model to another may be possible.
Article L211-4 of the Consumer Code: The seller is required to deliver goods in accordance with the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. It also responds to any lack of conformity resulting from the packaging, assembly instructions or installation when this has been charged to it by the contract or has been carried out under its responsibility.
Article L211-5 of the Consumer Code: To comply with the contract, the goods must:
Be suitable for the use usually expected of a similar good and, where applicable:
- correspond to the description given by the seller and have the qualities that the latter presented to the buyer in the form of a sample or model;
- present the qualities that a buyer can legitimately expect given the public statements made by the seller, the producer or his representative, in particular in the advertisement or labelling;
Or have the characteristics defined by mutual agreement by the parties or be suitable for any special use sought by the buyer, brought to the attention of the seller and which the latter has accepted.
Article L211-12 of the French Consumer Code: Action resulting from lack of conformity lapses two years after delivery of the goods.
Article 1641 of the French Civil Code: The seller is bound by the guarantee for hidden defects in the item sold which make it unfit for the use for which it is intended, or which reduce this use so much that the buyer would not have it. not acquired, or would have given a lower price, if he had known them.
Article 1648 al 1 of the French Civil Code: The action resulting from latent defects must be brought by the purchaser within two years of the discovery of the defect.
9 Evidence
In all cases, the online supply of the bank card number and the final validation of the order will be worth proof of the entirety of the said order in accordance with article 1317-1 of the French Civil Code and will be worth due to the sums incurred by the seizure of the Products appearing on the order form.
This validation constitutes signature and written acceptance of all operations carried out on the Website. However, in the event of fraudulent use of your bank card, you are invited, as soon as this use is noted, to contact Honoré.
The computerized registers, kept in the computer systems of Honoré and its partners, under reasonable security conditions, will be considered as proof of communications, orders and payments between You and Honoré.
The archiving of purchase orders and invoices is carried out on a reliable and durable medium so as to correspond to a faithful and durable copy in accordance with article 1348 of the French Civil Code.
10 Responsibilities
Honoré has for all the stages of order taking as well as all the stages subsequent to the conclusion of the contract, an obligation of result.
Thus, Honoré undertakes to describe with the greatest accuracy the products sold on the website. On the other hand, Honoré cannot be held liable in the event that the non-performance of its obligations is attributable either to the unforeseeable and insurmountable fact of a third party to the contract, or to a case of force majeure as defined by French law. Likewise, Honoré cannot be held liable for all the inconveniences or damages inherent in the use of the Internet network, in particular a breakdown in service, an external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses.
11 intellectual property
All elements of the Website, whether visual or audio, including the underlying technology, are protected by copyright, trademarks or patents. Likewise, the brands, logos, designs and models appearing on the site are the exclusive property of Honoré. Their disclosure can in no way be interpreted as granting any license or right to use any of the said distinctive marks protected by copyright. They cannot therefore be used under penalty of counterfeiting.
Thus, none of the documents from the Website may be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way whatsoever.
However, it is possible to download a copy of the documents to a computer for your personal use and only for non-commercial purposes, provided that you do not modify the information contained and keep intact all copyrights and other proprietary notices. Modifying these documents or using them for another purpose constitutes an infringement of Honoré's intellectual property rights.
If you have a website in a personal capacity and you wish to place, for personal use, on its site a simple link directing to the home page of the Website, it is mandatory to request authorization from Honoré. It will not in any case be an implicit affiliation agreement.
On the other hand, any hypertext link referring to the Website and using the technique of framing or in-line linking is strictly prohibited. In all cases, any link must be removed at the simple request of Honoré.
12 Nominative information and personal data
When ordering, the personal data collected will be subject to computer processing in accordance with CNIL regulations.
Your personal data is managed by this privacy policy in accordance with the GDPR of May 25, 2018.
13 Applicable law and jurisdictional powers
The General Conditions are subject to French law. You can refer at your choice, in addition to one of the jurisdictions having territorial jurisdiction under the French Code of Civil Procedure, to the jurisdiction of your location if it is not in France. This website is compliant with French legislation and does in no case guarantee being compliant with your local legislation if you access this site from other countries than France.
