Made with love - meet our Moroccan artisans

Made with love - meet our Moroccan artisans

At Honoré, we are proud to work with some of the most talented artisans in Morocco. For the past 20 years, we have been collaborating with master craftsmen and -women whose skills have been passed down through the generations. From blacksmiths and seamstresses to weavers and ceramists, these artisans create each piece with love and attention to detail.

We are honored to showcase their skills through our products, and our made-to-order productions allow us to offer a range of colors and fabrics that you can't find off the shelf. If you see something on our website that you like, be sure to pre-order it - these items are often one-of-a-kind and go fast!

Here at Honoré, we are all about the art of "handmade".

We believe that there is a unique beauty in each and every piece that is made by hand, rather than by machine. We are often criticized for imperfections in the finish of our products but we believe that these imperfections add to the charm of our products

We have a large multi-story workshop where most of our products are assembled. The ground floor is dedicated to ironwork, the 1st floor is for assembling parts, and the 2nd floor houses our sewing workshop as well as our raffia and rope weaving workshop.

In addition, we also employ a group of women in a village 10 km from Marrakech who are in charge of weaving all our raffia and rope pendants. The ceramic workshop as well as the wood workshop are located in the vicinity of Marrakech

All of our artisans take great pride in their work and it shows in the quality of their craftsmanship. When you purchase one of our products, you can rest assured knowing that it was made with expert care and attention to detail.

Morocco, the land of artistic inspiration

Artisans are the heartbeat of Morocco. For centuries, they have been passed down their knowledge and skills from generation to generation. Each artisan is an expert in their field, whether it's woodworking, leatherwork, or ceramics. We are honored to work with such skilled craftsmen.

When we visit them, it's like a reunion of old friends. We catch up on what's new, share stories and laughter, and then get down to business. We discuss new ideas and collaborate on new designs. It's always a productive and enjoyable visit.

We are grateful to have such a close relationship with our artisans. They are not only our partners, but our friends. Together, we continue to create beautiful products that are handmade with love and care.
